Apparently, yes.  See and hear, here.  Discover the creator.  email, buy.  I can only imagine a limited production/release of this nature will co$t some serious loot.  Loot, this gent personally has not.  Especially since the hardware is even more limited than the media:)  I do appreciate the initial attempt at this "natural" interpretation of sound and would be very interested in hearing more from this artist.

I hope so. It's time to drag yer carcass out of hibernation and join us for another Halcyon season of chillaxing in the beer garden with cool summer brews and tunes.  We have our playdates set (see right), so mark them calendars and we'll see you soon at the Corner Brewery!

Post Summer Beer Fest....Love Fest!

Wow. Can't believe that the summer is moving along at full speed! I wish I could be an anxious child again. With nothing more to worry about, except that next big event. But now that we have grown older, we stay young at heart by planning our own "next big events" and this weekend is no exception...catch that?...hehe. So this weekend we will have some exciting happenin's! Prophet Ecks from the Wax Kings has supposedly gone... all acoustical/indie rock err sumthin'? Dont mattah cuz I'm stoked to hear what the man has to play/say! Wax Queen Dj ReaZion is gonna make a LOOOONG awaited return....very kewl. Kings aside we carry on with some more Queens;), we have a SPECIAL GUEST DJ(yes i said, "special guest dj") this time round with Kzoo selectah DJ Disobedience.  She is loved and listened to in the Kzoo arena, and Ypsi is gonna be stoked to hear what she has planned to sooth our hearts and minds this weekend....sounds cheesy don't it?...s'not:P Wow, me with the emoti(on)cons. Just got off the celly with Cousin Geoff. Apparently he decided this weekend was big enough to sell records BOTH Saturday at the Corner Brewery after party(which he will be spinning at!) as well as Sunday for the Halcyon event. He's gonna snag some super fresh, never sniffed in the $1 room(cuz they're $5 cuts!!!!!), gems for all early comer's to scoop up and covet for years to come. LLast but not in the LLeast!...LLIC will be captivating your eyeballs and right brains to bring you the finest in Midwest aesthetics. Artists Kayj Michelle will be throwing down some live painting to coincide with the live atmosphere and other thoughts that afternoon. Joe Wambaugh will be handling portraiture's(btw....kille​d it last month!)! Chris Sneed, whom I've been seeing around quite a bit lately, will be spinning his own set(whilst we spin ours) of some sweet pottery pieces for you to ogle, peruse and purchase:) That being said, i will be gearing up for this weekend by kegging up this months Halcyon Wheat! Yuppers, I brought it back in a big way. This month's tasty brew is a Wheatwine brewed with lots-o-MI honey and fresh Marjoram(from our Ypsi garden). Keg taps at 2 pour tils nada. All lover , no cover. Bring yerself....and a friend....or two. wait. Did I mention the Halcyon Wedding?!   ~db

Islandaze Soon Come....

Wakey-wakey, yawn and stretch.  Getting pretty stoked about this month's Halcyon Sundaze installment coming up tomorrow.  Time to wash that ole Hawaiian rag and dust off yer flips flops!  Already working on preparations for tomorrow's festivities: Kayj repped by LLIC has some sweet art dropped off and the Halcyon Imperial Red Ale with toasted coconut is in the keg and will be ready to tap at 2pm; get here early so ya don't miss it!  Last month sold out pretty quick; quantities limited.  We're gonna dress the joint up a bit this time too with some corny but cool props along with all the other amazing art being created and delivered tomorrow compliments of LLIC artists.

There will also be a Wax Kings meeting for all those Kings and Queens who have yet to meet each other.  Pretty excited to hear WK selectahs' feedback on tomorrow's event, for some it will be a first time:)  Super stoked to hear what ReaZion has in store for us all; been a minute since I've heard her throw down.  In the meantime, just been listening to her archives from years past, which WILL get posted, promise.  As of now, my Macbook has decided to go on strike so I'm stuck at the moment:(  Looks like I'll be hangin' up Serato and spinnin' the real deal instead, NP.

Aiight, back to work for this guy, got gutters to clean and crates to dig!
